Topic Choice

My topic is photography. I chose this topic because it is something I want to do with the rest of my life. I got interested in it a few years ago. As time went by, I did get better. I got good at taking pictures of flowers and wildlife because of where I live and where I spent most of my time. I live in Mt. Baldy, and wildlife is everywhere, whether it be the flowers in our garden or the stream less than a minute from my house. I like to take pictures of people, though I want to get better at it. Mostly, when I take pictures, I take pictures of random things, like something I see in the street. From this project I wish to gain a better understanding of the techniques involved. The biggest and most important thing I wish to accomplish is what part of photography I want to become a part of. As I said before, I can do wildlife well, but I want to expand what I can do, and learn different styles; wedding, portrait, underwater, fashion, or even photojournalism. I am having trouble, at this time, deciding what I want ot focus on, and I hope that this project will give the time and insight into myself that I can decide on what I really want to do.
